Vladislav Petković Dis - Our days

 The dark time of doom has progressed.

Bloomed scum and sin and vices

Arose the rotten smell of decline

Died all heroes and prophets

The dark time of doom has progressed.

All burrows and canals began to see,

Basements rose to the top,

All of the insidious, cursed and little

Today they became our sovereigns.

All burrows and canals began to see.

Robbed are all temples and shrines,

Laughed at are all virtues and honesty

Humiliated are all graves and lives,

Tainted are both the requiem and the christening.

Robbed are all temples and shrines.

Riveted were the five centuries old bells of rebellion,

Vanished the spirit of unity and the god of war;

We hung all holidays and tribunes

We're getting fat from all the sins and all of the mud.

Riveted were the five centuries old bells of rebellion.

We made cops out to be magnates,

Idiots shared out dignity,

Thieves make our rich men

Dark souls call themselves patriots.

We made cops out to be magnates.

We wasted our wisdom on elections,

Our bravery we wasted on frauds and meals,

We poisoned all wells of future,

And losses we called our wins.

We wasted our wisdom on elections.

Instead of bright history and graves

We've resurrected all pygmies and tails;

We've closed our eyes and pockets

From our unhappy brothers, from slaves,

Instead of bright history and graves.

All we're still left with is dust on a piece of paper

As the only memory of giants;

Now we've found all glory in political parties,

The feast of mockery has caught all of our sons.

All we're still left with is dust on a piece of paper.

Our generation lives under a shame,

Neither the protests or the howls are heard;

Our public opinion lives under a shame,

Generations which suck like spiders do,

Our generation lives under a shame.

An eclipse pressed our days,

Our poor country of harm can't be seen anymore;

But when a fire catches all of our sides,

Where will we hide from the brightness and the Court!

An eclipse pressed our days.
